حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ لَا يُصِيبُهُ وَصَبٌ وَلَا نَصَبٌ، وَلَا حَزَنٌ، وَلَا سَقَمٌ (٢) ، وَلَا أَذًى، حَتَّى الْهَمُّ يُهِمُّهُ، إِلَّا اللهُ يُكَفِّرُ عَنْهُ مِنْ سَيِّئَاتِهِ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whatever worry, hardship, grief, illness, or sorrow, even those thoughts "which trouble him" reach a Muslim, Allah expiates his sins through them.
