حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الطُّفَاوِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: " اشْتَكَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَجَاءَهُ (٣)، ، جِبْرِيلُ فَرَقَاهُ، فَقَالَ: بِسْمِ اللهِ أَرْقِيكَ، مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ، مِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ وَحَاسِدٍ يَشْفِيكَ، أَوْ قَالَ: اللهُ (١) يَشْفِيكَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Jibreel (peace be upon him) came to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) and asked, "O Muhammad (ﷺ)! Have you fallen ill?" The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "Yes!" Upon this, Jibreel (peace be upon him) said, "I recite over you in the name of Allah, from every thing that harms you, and from the evil of every soul and the evil eye; may Allah grant you healing. I recite over you in the name of Allah."
