حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْعَزْلِ، فَقَالَ: " أَوَإِنَّكُمْ تَفْعَلُونَ؟ " (١) قَالُوا: نَعَمْ. قَالَ: " فَلَا عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ لَا تَفْعَلُوا، فَإِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى لَمْ يَقْضِ لِنَفْسٍ أَنْ يَخْلُقَهَا، إِلَّا هِيَ كَائِنَةٌ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about 'azl (withdrawal before ejaculation). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Do you do that?" The people replied, "Yes!" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If you do not do that, there is no harm upon you. The soul whom Allah Almighty has decided to bring into existence will surely come into existence."
