Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of the Battle of the Trench, we did not get the opportunity to perform the prayers, until some time had passed after Maghrib. When our sufficiency in the matter of fighting was achieved, that is, Allah had said that Allah will suffice the believers in fighting, and Allah is Powerful and Mighty, then the Prophet (ﷺ) ordered Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), and he gave the iqamah for Zuhr. The Prophet (ﷺ) led the prayer excellently, as he used to lead in normal times. Then he had the iqamah called and led the Asr prayer in the same way as he used to lead at its time. Similarly, he led the Maghrib prayer at its own time. Until that time, the command for the prayer of fear had not been revealed.
