Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَزِيدٍ (٢) ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَكُونُ بَعْدِي (٣) خَلِيفَةٌ يَحْثِي الْمَالَ حَثْيًا، وَلَا يَعُدُّهُ عَدًّا " (٤)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: After me, there will be a caliph who will give wealth and riches abundantly to the people without counting them.
