حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْلَمَةَ (٢) أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا نَضْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " لَا يَمْنَعَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْكُمْ مَخَافَةُ النَّاسِ أَنْ يَتَكَلَّمَ بِالْحَقِّ إِذَا رَآهُ أَوْ عَلِمَهُ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: The awe, fear, and grandeur of people should not prevent any of you from speaking the truth, whether he sees it, witnesses it, or hears it.
