حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ دَرَّاجًا أَبَا السَّمْحِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّ اللهَ إِذَا رَضِيَ عَنِ الْعَبْدِ (١) أَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ سَبْعَةَ أَصْنَافٍ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ لَمْ يَعْمَلْهُ (٢) ، وَإِذَا سَخِطَ عَلَى الْعَبْدِ أَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ سَبْعَةَ أَصْنَافٍ مِنَ الشَّرِّ لَمْ يَعْمَلْهُ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: When Allah is pleased with a servant, He turns towards him with seven good deeds which he had not done before, and when He is displeased with a servant, He turns towards him with seven evil deeds which he had not done before.
