حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا السَّمْحِ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْهَيْثَمِ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يُسَلَّطُ، ، عَلَى الْكَافِرِ فِي قَبْرِهِ تِسْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ (١) تِنِّينًا تَلْدَغُهُ حَتَّى تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ، فَلَوْ (٢) أَنَّ تِنِّينًا مِنْهَا نَفَخَ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَا أَنْبَتَتْ خَضِرًا " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Ninety-nine serpents are imposed upon the disbeliever in his grave, which will keep biting him until the Day of Resurrection. If even one of those serpents were to blow on the earth, no grass would ever grow on it.
