حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، يَرْفَعُهُ قَالَ: " إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَتَكَلَّمُ بِالْكَلِمَةِ لَا يُرِيدُ بِهَا بَأْسًا إِلَّا لِيُضْحِكَ بِهَا الْقَوْمَ، وَإِنَّهُ لَيَقَعُ مِنْهَا أَبْعَدَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Sometimes a person utters a word, intending only to make people laugh, but that word throws him far away from the sky.
