حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلٌ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى حَتَّى نَقُولَ: لَا يَتْرُكُهَا، وَيَتْرُكُهَا حَتَّى نَقُولَ: لَا يُصَلِّيهَا " (٣)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that sometimes the Prophet (ﷺ) would perform the Duha (forenoon) prayer so regularly that we would think he would never abandon it, and sometimes he would abandon it so regularly that we would think he would never perform this prayer.
