حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا تَثَاءَبَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ (١) فَلْيَكْظِمْ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَدْخُلُ فِي فِيهِ " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: If any of you feels the urge to yawn, he should keep his mouth closed as much as possible, otherwise Satan will enter his mouth.
