حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِزْرَةُ (١) الْمُؤْمَنِ إِلَى نِصْفِ السَّاقِ، فَمَا كَانَ إِلَى الْكَعْبِ فَلَا بَأْسَ، وَمَا كَانَ تَحْتَ الْكَعْبِ فَفِي النَّارِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: The lower garment of a Muslim should be till the middle of the shin; there is no harm if it is between the shin and the ankles, but the part of the lower garment which is below the ankles will be in Hell.
