حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ، ، مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُفْطِرُ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ، وَكَانَ لَا يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ، فَإِذَا قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to eat something before going to the Eidgah on the day of Eid al-Fitr, and he did not offer any nawafil before the Eid prayer. When he had performed the Eid prayer, then he would offer two rak'ahs.
