حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى يَعْنِي الْجُهَنِيَّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ، ، زَيْدًا الْعَمِّيَّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الصِّدِّيقِ النَّاجِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَكُونُ مِنْ أُمَّتِي الْمَهْدِيُّ، فَإِنْ طَالَ عُمْرُهُ أَوْ قَصُرَ عُمْرُهُ عَاشَ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ، أَوْ ثَمَانِ سِنِينَ، أَوْ تِسْعَ سِنِينَ، يَمْلَأُ الْأَرْضَ قِسْطًا وَعَدْلًا، وَتُخْرِجُ الْأَرْضُ نَبَاتَهَا، وَتُمْطِرُ السَّمَاءُ قَطْرَهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "A Mahdi will come in my Ummah who will remain for seven, eight, or nine years. He will fill the earth with justice and fairness. In his time, Allah Almighty will send abundant rain from the sky, and the earth will produce all its crops."
