حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَصُومُ عَبْدٌ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، إِلَّا بَاعَدَ اللهُ بِذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ النَّارَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever fasts for one day in the way of Allah, Allah, due to the blessing of that day, will distance him from Hell by a distance of seventy years.
