حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْوَدَّاكِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: قُلْنَا لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا حُرِّمَتِ الْخَمْرُ: إِنَّ عِنْدَنَا خَمْرًا لِيَتِيمٍ لَنَا " فَأَمَرَنَا فَأَهْرَقْنَاهَا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that when alcohol was prohibited, we said to the Prophet (ﷺ), "We have some alcohol belonging to an orphan child." The Prophet (ﷺ) ordered us to pour it out, so we poured it out.
