حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَا أَصَابَ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ مَرَضٍ وَلَا وَصَبٍ، وَلَا حَزَنٍ، حَتَّى الْهَمَّ يُهِمُّهُ إِلَّا يُكَفِّرُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَنْهُ مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whatever worry, hardship, grief, illness, or sorrow—even the thoughts "that trouble him"—reach a Muslim, Allah expiates his sins through them.
