حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ أَبِي الْحَوَارِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الصِّدِّيقِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ: " كُنَّا نَبِيعُ أُمَّهَاتِ الْأَوْلَادِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Prophet (ﷺ), we used to sell umm walad (slave women who had borne children).
