English translation

Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that once the Prophet (ﷺ) passed by an Ansari companion. The Prophet (ﷺ) sent for him, and when he came, water droplets were dripping from his head. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Perhaps we made you hasten to finish quickly?" He replied, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah!" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When you are in such a situation and are in a hurry, then just perform ablution (wudu), do not perform a full bath (ghusl). (Rather, perform ghusl later at your convenience.)"
