حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْعَوْفِيِّ،، ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى حَتَّى نَقُولَ: لَا يَدَعُهَا، وَيَدَعُهَا حَتَّى نَقُولَ: لَا يُصَلِّيهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that sometimes the Prophet (ﷺ) would perform the Duha prayer so regularly that we would think he would never leave it, and sometimes he would leave it so regularly that we would think he would never perform it.
