حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ هُبَيْرَةَ، عَنْ حَنَشِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، - قَالَ أَبِي: لَيْسَ مَرْفُوعًا (١) - قَالَ: " لَا يَصْلُحُ السَّلَفُ فِي الْقَمْحِ وَالشَّعِيرِ وَالسُّلْتِ، حَتَّى يُفْرَكَ، وَلَا فِي الْعِنَبِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ وَأَشْبَاهِ ذَلِكَ، حَتَّى يُمَجِّجَ، وَلَا ذَهَبًا عَيْنًا بِوَرِقٍ دَيْنًا، وَلَا وَرِق (٢) دَيْنًا بِذَهَبٍ عَيْنًا " (٣)، ،

Translation

English translation

Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that wheat, barley, and unhusked barley should not be sold through Salam (forward sale) until they are husked; grapes and olives, etc., should not be sold until they become sweet; likewise, cash gold should not be sold for deferred silver, nor deferred silver for cash gold.
