حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ يَعْنِي شَيْبَانَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ الْعَوْقِيِّ، (١) أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْوَتْرِ، فَقَالَ: " أَوْتِرُوا قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that I asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about Witr, so he (ﷺ) said: Offer Witr before the morning (Fajr).
