حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رِفَاعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " السَّحُورُ أَكْلُهُ بَرَكَةٌ، فَلَا تَدَعُوهُ، وَلَوْ أَنْ يَجْرَعَ أَحَدُكُمْ جُرْعَةً مِنْ مَاءٍ، فَإِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى الْمُتَسَحِّرِينَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Eating suhoor is a source of blessing, so do not abandon it, even if you only drink a sip of water. For Allah and His angels send mercy, each in their own way, upon those who partake in suhoor.
