حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، أَخْبَرَنَا (١) ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ بِشْرِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: فَرَدَّ الْحَدِيثَ حَتَّى رَدَّهُ إِلَى أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: ذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ (٢) عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: وَمَا ذَاكُمْ؟ قَالُوا: الرَّجُلُ تَكُونُ لَهُ الْمَرْأَةُ تُرْضِعُ فَيُصِيبُ مِنْهَا، وَيَكْرَهُ أَنْ تَحْمِلَ مِنْهُ، وَالرَّجُلُ تَكُونُ لَهُ الْجَارِيَةُ فَيُصِيبُ مِنْهَا وَيَكْرَهُ أَنْ تَحْمِلَ مِنْهُ، فَقَالَ: " فَلَا (٣) عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ تَفْعَلُوا ذَاكُمْ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ الْقَدَرُ " قَالَ ابْنُ عَوْنٍ: فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهِ الْحَسَنَ فَقَالَ: " فَلَا (٣) عَلَيْكُمْ لَكَأَنَّ (٤) هَذَا زَجْرٌ " (٥)، ،
Translation
English translation
Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that once the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) submitted in the court of the Messenger (peace be upon him) that a man's wife breastfeeds her child, he fulfills his desire with her, and he does not like her to become pregnant. Similarly, if a person has a slave-girl and he fulfills his desire with her but does not like her to become pregnant, what should he do? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: If you do this, there is no sin upon you, because this matter is a part of destiny.
