حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نَضْرَةَ (١) ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنِ الْجَرِّ أَنْ يُنْبَذَ (٢) فِيهِ، وَعَنِ التَّمْرِ وَالزَّبِيبِ أَنْ يُخْلَطَ بَيْنَهُمَا، وَعَنِ الْبُسْرِ وَالتَّمْرِ أَنْ يُخْلَطَ بَيْنَهُمَا " (٣)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade making and using nabidh in pitchers, and also forbade making nabidh by mixing fresh and dried dates, or dates and raisins together.
