حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُضَرَ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْهَادِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِذَا، ، رَأَى أَحَدُكُمُ الرُّؤْيَا يُحِبُّهَا، فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ مِنَ اللهِ فَلْيَحْمَدِ اللهَ عَلَيْهَا، وَلْيُحَدِّثْ بِهَا، فَإِذَا رَأَى غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ مِمَّا يَكْرَهُ فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ، فَلْيَسْتَعِذْ بِاللهِ مِنْ شَرِّهَا، وَلَا يَذْكُرُهَا لِأَحَدٍ فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَضُرُّهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: When any one of you sees a good dream, he should understand that it is from Allah, so he should thank Allah and relate it to others. And if he sees a bad dream, he should understand that it is from Satan, so he should seek refuge with Allah from its evil and not mention it to anyone. It will not harm him.
