Original Arabic
سَمِعْتُ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ: " وَإِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مُسْتَخْلِفُكُمْ فِيهَا،، ، فَيَنْظُرُ (١) كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ، أَلَا وَإِنَّ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عِنْدَ اسْتِهِ بِقَدْرِ غَدْرَتِهِ " وَقُرِئَ عَلَى سُفْيَانَ، سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that Allah Almighty has made you His vicegerent on earth, now He will see what kind of deeds you perform. Remember! On the Day of Resurrection, every deceiver will have a flag at his backside according to the extent of his deceit.
