Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah Almighty has said, "Fasting is especially for Me and I Myself will give its reward. The fasting person experiences two moments of joy: when he breaks his fast, he is happy, and when he meets Allah and Allah grants him his reward, then he will be happy." By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), the breath of the fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the fragrance of musk.
