حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " حَقُّ الْمُسْلِمِ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ (٣) خَمْسٌ: يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْهِ إِذَا لَقِيَهُ، وَيُشَمِّتُهُ إِذَا عَطَسَ، وَيَعُودُهُ إِذَا مَرِضَ، وَيَشْهَدُ جِنَازَتَهُ إِذَا مَاتَ، وَيُجِيبُهُ إِذَا دَعَاهُ " (٤)، ، قَالَ أَبِي: غَرِيبٌ يَعْنِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) saying: A Muslim has five rights over another Muslim: when you meet him, greet him with salam; when he sneezes and says "Alhamdulillah," respond to him; when he is ill, visit him; when he dies, attend his funeral; and when he invites you, accept his invitation.
