حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " خَيْرُ نِسَاءٍ رَكِبْنَ الْإِبِلَ نِسَاءُ قُرَيْشٍ، أَحْنَاهُ عَلَى وَلَدٍ فِي صِغَرِهِ، وَأَرْفَقُهُ بِزَوْجٍ عَلَى قِلَّةِ ذَاتِ يَدِهِ "، ثُمَّ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ (٢) : وَقَدْ عَلِمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ ابْنَةَ الْخَطَّابِ لَمْ تَرْكَبِ الْإِبِلَ (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: The best women among those who ride camels are the women of Quraysh, who are compassionate to their children in childhood and are the greatest protectors of their husbands’ honor. Then Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) knew that Maryam (peace be upon her) had never ridden a camel.
