Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَوْدُودٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي حَدْرَدٍ (٢) ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ بَزَقَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَلْيَحْفِرْ فَلْيُبْعِدْ، وَإِلَّا بَزَقَ فِي ثَوْبِهِ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever spits in the mosque should go far away; if he cannot do so, then he should spit into his garment.
