حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنِي بَابُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ، مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَتْبَعُ الْجِنَازَةَ صَوْتٌ وَلَا نَارٌ، وَلَا يُمْشَى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Fire and sounds (musical instruments) should not be taken along with the funeral, nor should anyone walk ahead of it.
