Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِائَةَ رَحْمَةٍ، فَجَعَلَ مِنْهَا رَحْمَةً فِي الدُّنْيَا تَتَرَاحَمُونَ بِهَا، وَعِنْدَهُ تِسْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ رَحْمَةً، فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ ضَمَّ هَذِهِ الرَّحْمَةَ إِلَى التِّسْعَةِ، ، وَالتِّسْعِينَ رَحْمَةً، ثُمَّ عَادَ بِهِنَّ عَلَى خَلْقِهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah the Exalted has one hundred mercies, of which He has sent down only one mercy upon all the inhabitants of the earth, and the remaining ninety-nine mercies Allah has reserved for His friends. Then Allah will take back that one mercy and combine it with the ninety-nine mercies, and on the Day of Resurrection, He will bestow all one hundred mercies upon His friends.
