Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: This month has cast its shadow over you. By Allah, the Prophet swears that no month better than Ramadan casts its shadow over the Muslims, and no month harsher than Ramadan comes upon the hypocrites. Allah Almighty begins to write its reward and voluntary acts before its arrival, and He also begins to write the persistence of the hypocrites in sins and their wretchedness beforehand. The reason for this is that Muslims prepare strength for worship in this month, while the hypocrites seek out people's heedlessness and faults. Thus, this month is a bounty for the Muslim, over which the sinful people are envious.
