Musnad Ahmad Hadith 10767

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I, Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), and Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) set out to present ourselves before the Noble Prophet (ﷺ). The noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) informed us that he had gone towards the Mosque of Taqwa (Masjid Quba). We proceeded there, and on the way, we encountered the Noble Prophet (ﷺ). The hands of the Prophet (ﷺ) were on the shoulders of Abu Bakr Siddiq and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them). When we approached the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), he said, "Abu Bakr! Who are these people?" They replied, "Abdullah bin Umar, Abu Huraira, and Samurah (may Allah be pleased with them)."
