حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ (٣) ، قَالَ: عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، عَنْ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ تَبِعَ جِنَازَةً وَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا، فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ، وَمَنْ انْتَظَرَ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ قَضَاءَهَا، فَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ " قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَمَا الْقِيرَاطَانِ؟ قَالَ: " أَحَدُهُمَا مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever offers the funeral prayer for someone will receive a reward equal to one qirat, and whoever waits until the burial is completed will receive a reward equal to two qirats. The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked for clarification about the two qirats, so the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: One of them is equal to the mountain of Uhud.
