حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ أَبُو صَالِحٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مَالِكَ بْنَ أَنَسٍ، وَذَكَرَ، سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيَّ، فَقَالَ: " أَمَا إِنَّهُ قَدْ فَارَقَنِي عَلَى أَنَّهُ لَا يَشْرَبُ النَّبِيذَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Shu'ayb bin Harb (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I heard Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioning Sufyan Thawri (may Allah have mercy on him), that he said: "He parted from me on the condition that he would not drink nabidh."
