حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ، عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا مِنْ مَجْرُوحٍ يُجْرَحُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ (١) يُجْرَحُ فِي سَبِيلِهِ، إِلَّا جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَالْجُرْحُ كَهَيْئَتِهِ يَوْمَ جُرِحَ، اللَّوْنُ لَوْنُ دَمٍ، وَالرِّيحُ رِيحُ مِسْكٍ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever receives a wound in the way of Allah, he will come on the Day of Resurrection with his wound fresh, just as it was on the day it was inflicted. Its color will be like blood, but its fragrance will be like musk.
