حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّ الْعُطَاسَ، وَيَكْرَهُ التَّثَاؤُبَ، فَإِذَا تَثَاءَبَ أَحَدُكُمْ، فَقَالَ: هَاهْ، فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ شَيْطَانٌ يَضْحَكُ مِنْ جَوْفِهِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah Almighty likes sneezing and dislikes yawning. Therefore, when a person opens his mouth to yawn and says "ha ha," it is Satan who is laughing from inside his belly.
