حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ مَوْلَى الْحُرَقَةِ (٤) قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِزْرَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ مِنْ أَنْصَافِ، ، السَّاقَيْنِ فَأَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ، إِلَى مَا فَوْقَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ، فَمَا كَانَ أَسْفَلَ (١) مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَفِي النَّارِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The lower garment of a believer should be up to the middle of the shin, or half of the shin, or up to the ankles. Then, whatever part is below the ankles will be in Hell.
