حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ كَتَمَ عِلْمًا يَعْلَمُهُ، جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، مُلَجَّمًا بِلِجَامٍ مِنْ نَارٍ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: If a person is asked about any matter of knowledge and he conceals it without reason, then on the Day of Resurrection a bridle of fire will be put in his mouth.
