حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ، وَهِشَامٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " تَسَمَّوْا بِاسْمِي، وَلَا تَكْتَنُوا (٣) بِكُنْيَتِي " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Name yourselves after me, but do not take my kunya as your kunya."
