حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، وَيَعْلَى، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ: عَبْدِي، فَكُلُّكُمْ عَبْدٌ، وَلَكِنْ لِيَقُلْ فَتَايَ، وَلَا يَقُلْ: رَبِّي، فَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللهُ، وَلَكِنْ لِيَقُلْ: سَيِّدِي " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: None of you should say regarding his slave, "Abdi" (my slave), because you are all slaves; rather, he should say, "My young man." And none of you should say regarding his master, "My Rabb" (my lord), because your Lord is Allah; rather, he should say, "My chief, my master."
