حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الطُّفَاوِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ،، ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: " شَرُّ الطَّعَامِ طَعَامُ الْعُرْسِ، يُطْعَمُهُ الْأَغْنِيَاءُ، وَيُمْنَعُهُ الْمَسَاكِينُ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يُجِبْ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The worst food is the food of a wedding feast to which the rich are invited and the poor are left out, and whoever does not accept an invitation has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger (ﷺ).
