Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، وَرَوْحٌ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ رَوْحٌ وَخِلَاسٌ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " نَهَى أَنْ يُبَالَ فِي الْمَاءِ الدَّائِمِ، ثُمَّ يُتَوَضَّأَ مِنْهُ " وَقَالَ رَوْحٌ: " لَا يَبُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ (٣) " (٤)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) forbade that anyone should urinate in standing water and then perform ablution with it.
