حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، وَعَفَّانُ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " اللهُمَّ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ، فَأَيُّمَا مُسْلِمٍ جَلَدْتُهُ - قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ: - أَوْ سَبَبْتُهُ، أَوْ لَعَنْتُهُ، فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ زَكَاةً وَأَجْرًا، وَقُرْبَةً تُقَرِّبُهُ بِهَا عِنْدَكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: I am also a human being. If I have caused harm to anyone (unintentionally) or cursed someone, let it become a means of purification and reward for that person, and a cause for my nearness on the Day of Resurrection.
