حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ أُكَيْمَةَ الْجُنْدُعِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةً فَجَهَرَ فِيهَا بِالْقِرَاءَةِ، فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ قَالَ: " هَلْ قَرَأَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ مَعِي آنِفًا؟ " قَالَ رَجُلٌ: مِنَ الْقَوْمِ أَنَا قَالَ: " إِنِّي أَقُولُ مَا لِي أُنَازَعُ الْقُرْآنَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) led us in prayer and recited aloud in it. After finishing the prayer, the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) asked, "Did any of you recite with me?" A man said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah!" The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "That is why I was wondering why there was contention with me in the recitation of the Qur'an."
