حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ أَبِي تَمِيمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الدِّينَارُ بِالدِّينَارِ، وَالدِّرْهَمُ بِالدِّرْهَمِ، لَا فَضْلَ بَيْنَهُمَا "، قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَقَرَأْتُهُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ، يَعْنِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: One dinar will be for one dinar, and one dirham will be for one dirham, and there will be no increase or decrease between them. This hadith was also read by Imam Ahmad’s teacher, Abdur Rahman, from Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on them).
