حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ زُهَيْرٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيَّ، وَأَبُو عَامِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " أَحْسِنُوا إِقَامَةَ الصُّفُوفِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، خَيْرُ صُفُوفِ الرِّجَالِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ أَوَّلُهَا، وَشَرُّهَا آخِرُهَا، وَخَيْرُ صُفُوفِ النِّسَاءِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ آخِرُهَا، وَشَرُّهَا أَوَّلُهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Straighten the rows well in prayer. Among the rows of men during prayer, the first row is the best and the last row is closest to evil, and among the rows of women, the last row is the best and the first row is closest to evil.
