حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ زُهَيْرٍ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَمْشِي (٤) عَلَى طَرِيقٍ وَجَدَ غُصْنَ شَوْكٍ، فَقَالَ: لَأَرْفَعَنَّ هَذَا لَعَلَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَغْفِرُ لِي بِهِ، فَرَفَعَهُ، فَغَفَرَ اللهُ لَهُ بِهِ، وَأَدْخَلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ " (٥)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated with the same chain that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: A man found a thorny branch on the path of the Muslims, so he thought to himself, "I will remove it; perhaps Allah Almighty will forgive me due to its blessing." So he removed it, and due to its blessing, he was forgiven and entered Paradise.
